Phillip was born in Bakersfield, California on July 22, 1964 to Herman and Dorothy (Powell) Glasco. Phillip was married to Robin Noreen Jones and together they raised their 2 children. He attended school in Shafter and was an alumni of Wasco High School. Phillip was an active member of FFA steer competition and participated in the Kern County Fair. He was truck driver for many years and worked with Haliburton, KVS and Mashburn Oil Field Transport. Phillip was a loving son, brother and father. He never met a stranger and enjoyed coming to church on Tuesday evenings. Phillip would bring the kids to youth group. He loved playing Pac-Man, wrestling and spent his time tending his garden. Phillip is survived by his mother Dorothy; children Phillip II and Rebekah Glasco; siblings Pastor Jim (Brenda) Glasco, Pam Graham, Jana Sheffield, Lori (Joe) Munoz and Crista (Dean) Alberson; many nieces and nephews. Phillip is preceded in death by his wife Robin; father Herman; grandma pearl Powell; grandpa Elmo Powell; grandparents Sidney and Thelma Glasco Visitation will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 from 4pm-8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 10am at Seventh Standard Pentecostal Church of God.
