Peter Mark Reimer, age 55, passed away Wednesday morning April 23, 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He and his wife Debby were visiting Africa with Seeds of Hope International Partnerships working in Christian service through agriculture training. Peter was born on January 19, 1953 to Wallace and Elfrieda Reimer. He was raised in Shafter, CA and started his own farm at the age of 19. He loved to travel and experience new things. He lived life to the fullest and believed that nothing was impossible. Two years ago he visited Zambia and has returned several times to train others in water purification and agriculture training. He had tremendous faith in Jesus Christ and loved his family and those he served. Peter is survived by his wife, Debra; daughters, Brianne and her fiancé, Paul Kruger, and Erin; his parents, Wallace and Elfrieda; his brother, Dwight and wife, Patricia; his sister, Connie and husband, Dennis Penner. A public Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 1st at 10am at Laurelglen Bible Church in Bakersfield.
