Peter Garcia Gutierrez III Peter Garcia Gutierrez III was born January 6, 1963 in Phoenix, AZ. He passed away April 26, 2011 in Bakersfield, CA. When he was a young child his family moved to Arvin, CA, where he spent most of his life. Pete excelled in several sports in his youth; he played football, baseball, and was an especially talented wrestler. Pete had countless friends and anyone who met him would immediately recognize that he was very charming, and sincere. Those who knew Pete well, knew that he would do anything he could to help those who were in need. He never refused a favor, and was fearless. The only thing stronger than his tough exterior was his heart. He was beyond loyal to his family and friends. He is survived by his five children, Daniel, Caitlin, Matthew, Jacob and Kamryn and his grandson Luke, mother Mary Price, his siblings, Joseph, Marie, Richard, Lisa, and their children. A public gathering will be held on Wednesday May 4, 2011 at Arvin Assembly of God 201 South Hill St. Arvin, CA 93203 from 4pm-8pm with a 6pm time of remberence by Pastor Brian Overturf, family and friends.
