Perla Mariana Muñoz was born in Bakersfield, California on August 21, 1981 to Antonia Perez and Mariano Muñoz. Perla was a very loving, patient and gentle person who would always help when she was needed. She loved listening to music and was always bubbly laughing, cheerful and full of life. Perla made friends everywhere she went. She loved bringing the family together and making memories that her family and friends will always cherish. Perla's sons were her greatest joy in life and she loved them with all her heart. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 13, 2016. Perla is survived by her parents Mariano Muñoz and Antonia Perez; siblings Gabby, Lupita, Pete, Alex, Ricky, and Michelle; sons Dominic and Isaiah Perez; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday July 14, 2016 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter. Mass of the Christian Burial was be celebrated Friday July 15, 2016 at 11am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church officiated by Msgr. Perry Kavookjian. Visitation was be held Thursday from 4-8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter.
