Peggy Carolyn
Allen
July 5, 1931 – April 6, 2026
Peggy Carolyn Allen
Peggy Carolyn Allen, known by most as Carolyn, Aunt Carol, and Granny, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026. Carolyn was born July 5, 1931 to Andy Lee Morris and Clara Lee Welcher in a small rural community known as Crossroads near Roland, AK. She was the second daughter of a family of eleven siblings. Carolyn attended Crosswords Elementary in Arkansas and graduated Wasco High School in 1950.
Carolyn was a devoted servant of the Lord, living each day with quiet strength, unwavering faith, and a heart full of compassion. On December 8, 1951, she married her "prince in shining armor" Bob Allen, beginning a lifelong journey built on love, faith, and devotion.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother to her three sons, Dennis, Bruce, and Brad, whom she cherished deeply. She loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. Her home was a place of warmth, where laughter was shared, bellies were full, and love was always present. She made everyone feel welcomed, valued, and deeply loved.
Carolyn found peace and happiness in gardening, especially in growing her own vegetables. She took pride in nurturing her garden from seed to harvest, providing for her family in a simple and meaningful way. Just as she cared for her garden, she nurtured those around her - with love, patience, and a gentle spirit that helped others flourish.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, resting in the presence of the Lord she so faithfully followed. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Bob and her eldest son Dennis. She is survived by her sons, Bruce and Brad, wife Kathy. Six grandchildren Alison Allen (Brandon}, Lee Sa (Chris), Dana Snow (Casey), Clint Allen (Pam), Sam Allen (Sonja), and Katelyn Allen. Eight great-grandchildren Bailey, Ivy, Sage, Brylynn, Leo, Poppy, Flo, and Annie. One great-great-grandson, Erza.
