Pedro Jesus Rascon was born on April 29, 1941, in San Ignacio, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jose and Antonia Rascon. He shared his life with Maria Cruz Pedroza, and together they raised 10 children. Pedro worked as a cook in restaurants throughout his life. Pedro was preceded in death by his father, Jose; brothers, Lorenzo, Jose and Ismael; sons, Henry and Antonio; daughter, Silvia. He is survived by his life partner, Maria Cruz Pedroza; sons, Pedro, Jesus, Jessie and Manuel; daughters, Maria Isabel, Maria De Lordes, and Rosa Lilia; brothers, Jose and Manuel; sisters, Maria, Antonia, Connie, Hopie and Rosa; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Thursday, February 21, 2008, at 6pm, for Pedro Jesus Rascon, age 66, of Shafter, who passed away February 16, 2008, in Shafter. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 22, 2008, at 10am, at St. Therese's Church. Father Pedro Umana of St. Therese's Catholic Church will officiate the service and interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park.
