Obituary

Pedro Gauzin was born December 8, 1936 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Zefarino and Maria Concepcion (Martinez) Gauzin. Pedro was a very humble and good man. He worked fin agriculture for D. M. Camps and various other camps. He liked going to swap meets especially the one Weedpatch Hwy. and Bear Mtn. Road and the one on Hoskins Road. Pedro was a hardworking man who never took vacations and was a well provider for his family. He was a very giving person. Pedro stopped to help anyone that was in need of help and expected nothing in return from others. Pedro was a well respected man by many. Pedro is survived by his wife Escolastica Gauzin; his six sons Jose Luis, Manuel de Jesus, Fernando, Pedro, Margarito Alfonso and Able Gauzin; his daughter Rosa Maria Gauzin; three sisters Bertha, Pasquala and Gloria Gauzin; 22 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation held at Arvin Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 9, from 2-8pm with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm for Pedro Martinez Gauzin, age 71, who passed away January 4, 2008 in Bakersfield, California. Interment will be in Mexico.
