Pedro was born May 28, 1931 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Pedro Gasca Zavala and Trinidad Fonseca. He married the love of his life, Gudelia Quintino Almanza 67 years ago and together they raised their eight children. Pedro was a loving, happy man that enjoyed riding horses when he had free time. He appreciated nature and the majestic scenes it created. He spent 57 years working and providing for his family out in those beautiful fields he loved very much. Pedro passed away peacefully at his home in Arvin on May 5, 2015. He will be missed and will live in his family's hearts' forever. He is survived by his wife, Gudelia ; Sons, Salvador (Adela) Gasca Quintino, Apolinar (Sara) Gasca Quintino; Daughters, Angelina Gasca Quintino (Ernesto Romero) , Eloisa Gasca Quintino (Gerardo Esparza), Margarita Gasca Quintino ( Sergio Gonzalez), Ana Maria Gasca Quintino (Jorge Jimenez), and Norma Gasca Quintino; 32 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren. Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Trinidad Gasca; daughter, Ninfa Gasca Quintino; granddaughter, Araceli Romero. The mass of a Christian Burial was officiated by father Jorge de La Torre on Friday May 8, 2015 at 10am at St. Thomas Catholic Church. A visitation was held Thursday May 7, 2015 from 2-8pm at Arvin Funeral Home with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm.
