Pedro Cardenas was born on May 11th, 1917 in Jalisco, Mexico were he spent the majority of his life enjoying his life in the farm. In 2002, he migrated to Arvin California were he spent the remainder of his life under the care and compassion of his devoted children and wife. Pedro was happily married to the love of his life Maclovia Solis for 71 years. The Lord took him on February 24th, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and his devoted wife at the time of his passing. He was a great father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great great-grandfather. Pedro Cardenas is survived by his wife Maclovia and 10 children: Maria Luisa, Beatriz, Natividad, Refugio, Sylvia, Armando, Sergio, Raul, Jesus, and Pedro; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-children who all love him and will miss him very much. His services will take place at the Arvin Funeral Home, in Arvin. Mass was officiated at St. Thomas Church by Father Jorge on Friday March 5th, 2010 at 10am. Interment followed immediately after mass, at the Arvin cemetery where he will finally rest in peace.
