Pauline (Cross) (Salyards) Marquez, 69, went to her heavenly home on February 6th, 2020. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her caring family. Pauline was born September 28, 1950 in Oklahoma to Paul and Elva Cross. She was a long time resident of Wasco, Ca where she married and raised her family. Pauline was a sister to five brothers, a mother to four, Tony (Robin), Lisa, Jason (Jennifer) and Gina, a grandmother to eleven, a great-grandmother to four and a friend to all. In life Pauline enjoyed cooking and baking. She was an avid quilter and gifted seamstress. She absolutely loved to stay busy and help others. Pauline lead a service driven life. She was a proud Life Member of the Ladies' Auxiliary for the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She held several esteemed offices within the organization. She was a devoted member of the Griffith Avenue Baptist Church were she was involved with several community programs and loved working in the church. Pauline was preceded in death by her son, Jason, her parents, her first husband, Gary Salyards and her second husband, Humberto Marquez.
