Pauline was an active member of Joshua Springs Church, Business Women's Club of Yucca Valley where she served as their president for one year, attended the local hobnobbers gathering once a month, and played in Bridge card tournaments. She belonged to the Morongo Basin Old Car Club for many years and entered her 1961 Falcon Futura in many Hi Desert car shows. She loved cats entering some in cat shows as far away as Alaska. She loved to travel; taking cruise trips and local trips plus she traveled around the world four times with her husband while he worked for the USIS. She accompanied her husband while he worked nine months for Walt Disney's Circarama at the 1958 Worlds Fair in Brussels, Belgium. Stephen Hanson of Cathedral City, CA survives her. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive her. She will be greatly missed. She loved her cat Kie Kie. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel: 57373 Joshua Lane, Yucca Valley, CA 92284.
