Paul Loza, age 80, was born December 9, 1927 to Policarpo and Hilaria (Nungaray) Loza in Clarkside, Arizona. He came to Wasco when he was seventeen. Paul worked for Wasco Concrete Pipe Co. for twenty-five years and for Farm Pump and Irrigation for twenty years. Paul liked to BBQ, going out to the coast and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved his garden where he liked spending free time. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Paul was survived by his wonderful wife Josefina (Vasquez) Loza of forty-three years; his sons, Daniel and wife Ruth Loza of Wasco, Paul and wife Bernice Loza from El Centro, Eddie Loza of Wasco; his daughters, Sara and husband Louis Penalber of Wasco, Lupe and husband Bryan Reaves also of Wasco. He is preceded in death by his parents Policarpo and Hilaria Loza; brother Patrocino Loza; two sisters, Maria Guadalupe Hinojosa and Maria Louisa Loza; and his nephew Panfilo Loza Hinojosa. Visitation for Paul, age 80, will be held October 29, 2008 from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home with the Recitation of The Holy Rosary at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held October 30, 2008 at 10am at St. Johns Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.
