Pamela Walker returned home to Jesus on April 4th, 2024 at the age of 58 in Bakersfield, CA.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, June 15th, 2024 at Shafter Memorial Park.

Pamela was born to Loyde Pruitt and Ruby Upshaw on June 15th, 1965 in Delano, CA.

Pamela spent her childhood riding horses and attempting to reign in her brother, Steve and sister Kim. She spent her high school years falling in love with her future husband, Brent Walker who she married shortly after on June 9th, 1984. Brent and Pamela had two children, Craig and Heather Walker in the years following.

Pamela spent her adult years taking care of her two children and found her passion. She began assisting with the schools as a teacher's aide and day care worker. She loved her job even when it tried her patience and challenged her resolve.

Pamela cherished her free time and enjoyed spending it with her husband, children and animals. She found the most joy in her favorite activity, dancing with her friends and loved ones. After the passing of her husband three years ago, Pamela was blessed to find her new partner in life, Curtis. Being with Curtis, reignited her love for horseback riding and the outdoors. But through it all what she loved most, was making sure everyone was happy.

Pamela was greeted in passing by her husband and high school sweetheart, Brent Walker, her parents Loyde and Ruby Pruitt, mother-in-law Shirley O'Dell and sister-in-law Kim Barbour. She is survived by her children Craig and Heather Walker, and her grandchildren Taylor and Tyler Walker, Jorden and Braelynn Hall, her Fiancée' Curtis Harms and her siblings Steve Pruitt and Kim Hokit.
