PAMELA MARIE WAGNER

June 20, 1944 – November 29, 2024

Pamela Marie Wagner, 80, of Bakersfield California went home to Jesus on Friday, November 29, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Pam was born on June 20, 1944 in Waco Texas. She grew up in Shafter. California where she graduated Shafter High School in 1962, where she excelled in Drama, which extended years into adulthood in community theater. After becoming a wife and mother she graduated from Federicos College of Beauty as a hairdresser. She worked in Shafter, enjoying making people beautiful for over 40 years.

Pam was a devout Christian who attended Valley Baptist Church for many years, where she joyfully sang in the choir, and was involved in many groups over the years, her favorite being Balcony Women where she formed many deep friendships.

Pam was married to the love of her life, David Wagner, on New Years Eve, 1986. They were married for 27 years until his death in 2013. Shes also preceded in death by her parents Juanita Worley and stepfather Virgil Worley.

Pam had too many talents and hobbies to name, but some of her favorite things included baking, which produced her famous chocolate chip cookies, and crafting and sewing. She loved animals and was a doting mom to her many furbabies. She loved the beach, where she spent many summers with friends and family. Pam was also known for her incredible sense of humor, and loved laughing until she wheezed. She was a very sweet, thoughtful and vivacious soul.

Pam is survived by her daughter Moni (Dan), granddaughter Tessa, stepson Matt (Carey), stepdaughter Trina (Melanie), and grandson Josh (Shelby).

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at Bristol Hospice, most notably her nurse Virgie. And, a very special thank you to her to earth angel caregivers, Renee and Rowena.

A graveside service will be held for Pam on Monday, December 9 at 2 PM at the Shafter cemetery. Attendees are invited to wear something with purple and/or blue, her favorite colors.
