Orlando Florendo Cudal Sr. June 13, 1936-July 24, 2011 Navy veteran, management analyst, 75 Orlando Florendo Cudal Sr., a 22-year resident of California and Twentynine Palms, died July 24, 2011, at Hi-Desert Medical Center. He was 75 years old. The son of Ireneo Cudal and Loreto Florendo, he was born June 13, 1936, in Bolinao Pangasinan in the Philippines. Mr. Cudal served in the U.S. Navy, where his rating was storekeeper first class, and worked in the Civil Service as a management analyst before he retired. He was a boxing critic and a political analyst. Mr. Cudal is survived by his wife of 42 years, Teresita F. Cudal of Twentynine Palms; daughter Teresita C. Arroyo of North Las Vegas, Nev.; son Orlando F. Cudal Jr. of Plumas Lake; and two grandchildren. A viewing will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Wiefels Funeral Chapel at 6522 Desert Queen Avenue in Twentynine Palms. A funeral service begins at 1 p.m. Sunday at Wiefels Funeral Chapel in Twentynine Palms, Father Ignatius Rasquinha officiating. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery.
