Oralia B. Garcia was born in Harlingen, Texas on September 22, 1929 to Daniel & Teresa (Melendez) Barraza. Oralia worked at home as a homemaker for 50 years. She was 83 old when she passed away at home on Thursday April 4, 2013 in Shafter, California. Oralia was a resident of Shafter, California. Oralia was survived by her sister Dora Delgado; her children Francisco Garcia Jr. and his wife Gloria, Juan Garcia, Lupe Garcia and his wife Diane, Jesus Garcia and his wife Lourdes and Irma Mendez and her husband Able; 23 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren and 1 great great- grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband Francisco Garcia who passed away April 16, 1988. The Mass of the Resurrection will be officiated by Padre Pedro Umana at St. Therese Catholic Church on Tuesday April 9, 2013. A visitation will be held on Monday April 8, 2013 at 4-8pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm.
