Omar Borja, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Omar is survived by his mother Celia Borja; his children Veronica Gregory, Omar Borja Jr, and Oscar Borja; his grandchildren Damain Gregory, Natalí Gregory, Kylie Gregory and Oscar Borja Jr.;his brothers Jesus, Francisco, and Gabino; his sisters Lourdes, Luz, Celia, Leticia; and countless family members. He is preceded in death by his father Jesus Borja and sister Gabriella. Omar was born in Leon, Guanajuato on July 14, 1967 although he likes to believe he was born on July 13 to Jesus and Celia Borja. He predominantly worked in the oilfields as a welder. He lived in Lost Hills for over 21 years and then relocated to Bakersfield. He enjoyed having BBQs with family especially during the football season to cheer on his Green Bay Packers. Omar was especially fond of spending time with family and friends doing various activities like playing darts, dominos, pool,LCR, and going on boat rides. Omar will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
