Obituary

Olivia Behill was born July 18, 1929 in Peco, Texas and passed away at her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren on March 15, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Teodora Figueroa; brother, Pete Figueroa; husband, Raymond M. Behill and two sons, Raymond Behill, Jr. and William Behill Olivia is survived by her children, Michael Behill, Gary Behill, Robert Behill, Patrick Behill, wife Juanita, Steven Behill, wife Tracy and Lawrence Behill; daughters, Patricia Cornejo, husband Sam, Jeanette Galvez, husband Amador, Mona Rodriguez, husband Steve and Elaine Behill; daughter-in-law, Juanita Behill; sister, Irene Marcus, husband Manuel; sisters-in-law, Virginia Leon, Priscilla Gonzales, Vivian Munoz and Josie Figueroa; 32 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great grand baby girls on the way; along with numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Mom will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, caregiver and servant to her parents, friends and loved ones. Her home and heart were always open when needed. She enjoyed her gardening, tending to her chickens, visiting with friends, going to breakfast, shopping, Friday night dinners with daughters and granddaughters. We will miss holiday gatherings with her menudo and tamales. The memories she made for her family will remain in our hearts and never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was best known for her energetic, feisty and strong-willed personality. Pallbearers will be son, Lawrence Behill, grandsons Raymond Behill, Jr., Sammy Cornejo, Jr., Amador Galvez III, Patrick Cornejo and Anthony Rodriguez. To Odyssey Hospice, thank you for your comfort, compassion and support during our mother's last few weeks. A special thank you to Danielle, Chris and Cheryl; your services were greatly appreciated. Rosary will be recited Friday, March 20 at 9:50am at St. Francis Church followed by Celebration of the Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 20 at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary, 620 Oregon from 2pm to 8pm.
