Noemi Perez was the last child born to Ma De La Luz (Morales) and Enrique Perez on October 2, 1990 to in Bakersfield, CA. She attended Arvin Schools and graduated from Arvin High in 2008, where she participated in all sports and achieving "Female Athlete of the Year", her scholastic dreams were to become a teacher. Noemi was well liked and respected by fellow classmates, teachers and coaches; she was a freshman at CSUB. She was always smiling and always willing to handout encouragements and enthusiasm. When anyone of her siblings was alittle sad, she cheered them up by saying "you don't look very pretty when you are sad, smile so you can look your best", of course that always brought a smile. She was the happy little sister that they will all miss. Noemi was survived by her parents Maria De La Luz and Enrique Perez; sisters, Maria Guadalupe, Maria Soledad, Carmen and Martha Perez; brothers, Olegario, Rick and Llovany Perez; many aunts and uncles and cousins. Mass was officiated by Father Jorge De La Torre at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Thursday, February 12, 2009 for Noemi Perez, age 18, who passed away February 8, 2009. Internment was followed at South Kern Cemetery District. Visitation was held Wednesday, at Peters Funeral Home Chapel.
