Nicolas Duran Sosa was born December 30, 1975 in Mexico to Nicolas Duran Santoyo and Elena Sosa Moreno. A resident of Arvin he is survived by his parents. Holy Rosary was recited Monday, September 22, 2008 at Arvin Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, Septembver 23 at St. Thomas Church. Fr. Jorge De La Torre officiated and interment followed at South Kern Cemetery, Arvin. Visitation was held Monday from 2pm to 8pm at Arvin Funeral Home. Serving as casket bearers were Joaquin Lopez, Leonel Duran Sosa, Manuel Duran Sosa, Leonel Duran Parra and Joaquin Lopez Parra.
