Nicolas Sanchez was born in Victoria Texas to Alicia (Jimenez) Rodriguez and Genaro Sanchez. Nicolas entered Gods presence on November 7, 2011. Nico enjoyed going to dances, fishing in the deep sea and spending his time with his family and friends, especially his grand children and great grandchildren. Nico also enjoyed going on vacation to Pismo Beach for some clam chowder and going to visit his brothers, and sisters in Hemet, Texas. He also liked going to eat breakfast at Perkcos every Sunday. Nico loved going to church with his wife and family. Wonderful memories of Nico, he will be missed. Nicolas Sanchez is preceded in death by his parents, Genaro Sanchez and Alicia Rodriguez; son, Nicolas Sanchez, Jr.; granddaughter, Alyssa Nunez; sisters, Guadalupe Sanchez Morales, Macaria S. De la Garza. He is survived by his beloved wife Carmen Sanchez; step father Guberto Rodriguez; children, Margaret Sanchez, Anna Nunez and husband Tony Nunez, Arturo Sanchez, and Jose Sanchez; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Martina Valadez, Lionor Cano, Amparo S. Moreno, Celia Nunez, Teresa Arguelles; brothers, Marcos Sanchez, Ramon Sanchez, Hector Sanchez, Oscar Rodriguez, Jose Nunez. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 6pm at St. John's Catholic Church for Nicolas Sanchez, age 68, of Wasco, who passed away on November 7, 2011 in Delano. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.
