Nicholas James Armstrong September 12, 1991 – November 26, 2016 Nicholas James Armstrong was born on September 12, 1991 to Debra Shepard and Glen Armstrong. He was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. At a young age, Nick was very tech savvy and enjoyed working on electronics. Nicholas joined the Marines and was with the Military for over four years. He served overseas in Japan. On November 26, 2016, Nicholas passed away. Nick is survived by his parents, Debra Matson and Glen Armstrong; children; Gavin James Armstrong and Scarlett Grace Armstrong; grandparents Ellen Caves, James Caves, and Janet "Nana" Armstrong; sister, Melanie; fiancé, Briana Unsell; aunts; Ginger and Geneva Armstrong; Uncle Brian Shepard and Jothel Shepard; and many cousins, loved ones, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 6pm officiated by Pastor Jimmy Glasco.
