Nettie Fay Henderson was born September 13, 1931 in Arkansas to George Thomas and Esther (McCullen) Henderson. She had been a resident of Arvin for 40 years. She worked as a housekeeper for over 50 years for many families in Arvin. Nettie is survived by her sisters, Georgia Carr of Lamont, Lois White and Sybil Thompson of Texas; and brother Tommy Henderson of Ridgecrest. Nettie passed away January 24, 2009 in Arvin at the age of 77. Visitation will be Wednesday January 28 from 2-8pm at the Arvin Funeral Home with graveside services at the Arvin Cemetery Thursday January 29 at 11am.
