Nestor Sierra was born in Jalisco, Mexico on February 23, 1933 to parents, Trinidad and Teodora (Olivares) Sierra. He married Susie (Salazar) Sierra in San Diego, CA on January 11, 1979. Nestor died at his home in Arvin, CA, surrounded by his family, on July 18, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susie Sierra; their children, Andrea Niestas, Nestor Sierra Jr., Theodora Hare, Susie McCullar, Regino Sierra, Sarina Sierra, and close enough to be their son, Robert Sierra; along with 20 grandchildren. A residential visitation will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the family residence. Pastor Mark McGinty will officiate the funeral, this Saturday, July 24, 2021 beginning at 2:00pm, at the Arvin Assembly of God. A reception will follow.
