Nellie Bernal Serda - On December 21, 2016 the Lord's peace came to our beloved mother and grandmother Nellie Bernal Serda. Nellie was one of eight children born to her late father and mother Edwardo and Maria Bernal. Nellie was born in Wasco on June 19, 1924. On December 22, 1946 Nellie married Joseph C. Serda. Nellie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe in 2009. Our mother will be greatly missed by her son Manuel Serda, her daughter Maria Serda Peck and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren along with family and friends. Nellie also leaves behind her sister Connie Montemayor and brother Tony Bernal, both of Wasco. Viewing will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Peters Funeral Chapel on December 27. The funeral will be held December 28 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Wasco.
