Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Snider October 2, 1957 – January 11, 2009 Nancy graduated from Casa Grande High School in Petaluma, CA in 1975, where she was an avid student. She moved to Bakersfield in 1976 and attended Indian Hills and Bakersfield community Colleges and worked for BIA Insurance and obtained her real estate license. Nancy married James Snider of Snider's Cyclery Inc. on May 22, 1982. She was a wonderful, loving, and supportive mother to three children. Her interests were varied, and included, sewing, crafts, decorating for the holidays, making the best soccer banners, being a world class bargain shopper and cooking up a storm of fantastic christmas cookies, which many enjoyed. Nancy was a lover of life and very friendly, outgoing and positive. She was full of love and very passionate in her dedication to her family. Nancy was a great mother, wife and friend. Nancy fought a brave fight against breast and bone cancer and passed away peacefully January 11, 2009. Nancy is survived by her loving husband James Lloyd Snider, Daughters; Jeseka and Olivia Snider, and son Nolan Snider. Sisters; Michelle and Sandra, and brother, Richard. A memorial service will be held on Friday January 16, at 10:00 A.M. at the Hopson Anspach Family Mortuary at 620 Oregon St., Bakersfield, CA 93305
