McGuire, Muriel

Age 83 of Wasco, CA passed away November 16, 2024. Muriel was born in St James, MN to Obert and Cora Skarphol. She was the oldest of ten children. Muriel graduated from Madelia High School, Madelia, MN and Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. After graduation from college, Muriel moved to Wasco, CA where she taught at Wasco High School, later substitute teaching in Wasco and Bakersfield. It was in Wasco that she met her husband, Vernon McGuire. The two worked side by side at their business, McGuire Realty. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law. Muriel leaves behind many cherished family members and friends.
