Morris "Moises" Gabriel Nazaroff born in Baja California on December 19, 1953 to Maria P. (Samarin) and Gabriel M. Nazaroff. He came to Kern County with his parents as an infant, attended the local schools and graduated from Wasco High School in 1972. In his earlier years, he worked as a labor worker for various farms, noted as one of the best cultivators by many. Throughout Morris' life, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing pool, BBQing with family and friends, listening to music and was very good at emulating Michael Jackson's dance moves. Recently he was well known for riding his bicycle around town. His smile, his voice on the other end of the phone and presence will be missed by all. Morris Nazaroff is preceded in death by his son Morris Jr. (1985), mother Maria Nazaroff (3/2009) and long time companion Lydia M. Samarripas (6/2009). He is survived by his sons Adrian and Gabriel Nazaroff; sisters Elena Baghdanov, Luba Pivovaroff, Manya Samarin; grandchildren Priscella, Jessica, Adrian Jr., Destiny and Isaac. 10 am Graveside Service for Morris Nazaroff , age 57, of Wasco who passed away March 27, 2011, will be officiated by Preacher Paul Slevkoff on Monday, April 4, 2011, interment will immediately follow at Shafter Memorial Park.
