Miguel Almaraz Mora was born June 2, 1944 in Acambaro, Guanajuato, Mexico; to parents Guadalupe and Clara Mora. Miguel's father passed away when he was very young, leaving Miguel with a lot of responsibilities for a big family, but he was the kind of person who learned quickly and grew many skills. Miguel was very handy; he enjoyed woodworking and automotive work, but he was a talented cook as well. He was a particular man and he would work until a job was completed to his high standards. Miguel worked as the owner/operator of The Victory Café for a number of years, but he worked many jobs throughout his life including agricultural trades. He enjoyed traveling and the outdoors, he felt at ease when he was camping and fishing. Miguel is survived by his wife, Bernardita Mora; his son, Jose Mora; grandson, Miguel; and his siblings, Herlinda Rivas, Agustina Trujillo, Alba Soto, Dolores Tinajero and Roberto Mora. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy Mora; and his sisters, Consuelo Mora and Maria Luisa Caballero.
