Michael was born November 30, 1989 in Bakersfield, CA to Larry and Mary Carolyn (Huffaker) Tuck. He attended local schools and enjoyed participating with various local sports clubs including: baseball, basketball and soccer. Michael attended Shafter High, where he played trumpet in the band and also stayed active with the golf team before graduating in 2008. He then enrolled in classes at Bakersfield College. Michael worked a short time at Target, and then went on to working in oil field construction primarily in the Elk Hills reserve. Always interested in electronics, he kept up with technology, and enjoyed working with computers as well. Michael was a big music lover; he enjoyed many styles and genres, and as long music was playing, he was happy. In his down time he enjoyed the outdoors, especially his fishing or hunting trips that he was able to enjoy with his dad and friends. Those who knew Michael well will remember his great sense of humor; he was a people person, always social. He died September 26, 2015 in Bakersfield. Michael is survived by his parents, Larry and Mary; sisters, Laurie and husband Kenneth Morgan, and Sonya and husband Anthony Hunt; niece and nephew, Laynee Morgan and Justin Tuck; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Lois Tuck, and Edwin and Velma Huffaker. A graveside service will be held at Shafter Memorial Park on Friday, October 2, 2015 beginning at 10am. Visitation will take place at Peters Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 4-8pm.
