Michael Lynn Skaggs 08/20/1970-02/22/2008 Michael Lynn Skaggs was born in Bakersfield, California, to Lonnie and Nancy Skaggs, on August 20, 1970. He attended the local schools and Shafter High School. Michael worked as a welder in the manufacturing industry for 15 years. Michael enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing. Michael is survived by his father, Lonnie Skaggs; mother, Nancy Skaggs; brother, Timothy Skaggs; and sister, Christina Skaggs all of Bakersfield; and many other loving family members. A graveside funeral service under the direction of Peters Funeral Home will be held at Shafter Memorial Park on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at 10am, for Michael Lynn Skaggs, age 37, of Bakersfield, who passed away February 22, 2008, in Bakersfield. Pastor Dean Long of the Shafter Free Will Baptist Church will officiate the service and interment will follow.
