Michael Silva was born in East Los Angeles, California on October 10, 1982 to Carlos and Margarita (Sanchez) Silva and grew up in San Gabriel Valley attending Park West Continuation School in Pomona. That is where he met his future wife, Annie Sanchez. They moved to Shafter in August of 2000 and were formally married on June 17, 2002 in Bakersfield. Michael Silva worked in construction as a welder for 5 years and was currently employed by Global Fabricators. Michael was known to his friends as "Balue" or "Big Daddy" and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Michael was 30 years old when he passed away on April 8, 2013 in Bakersfield, California. Michael Silva was survived by his wife of 15 years, Annie Silva; his children, Christina Monique, Serina Christine, Marina Lorraine, Larina Frankie and Isaiah Michael; sister, Yvonne Silva; brothers, George Mosley, Chris Acosta, Anthony Silva, Jamie Silva, and Patrick Delgado. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 16, at 1pm at Shafter Christian Fellowship for Michael Silva, age 30, of Shafter who passed away April 8, 2013. Visitation will be held Monday, April 15, from 2pm – 7pm at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter.
