Michael Lopez Saenz was born in El Paso, Texas on June 1, 1918 to Miguel and Rufina (Lopez) Saenz. He met and married Sally Escalante and raised three children. Michael worked in the rose agriculture industry for Bear Creek for 40 years. Michael was 96 years old when he passed away with his family by his side on November 6, 2014 in Bakersfield, California. He is survived by his children Victoria Rader, Jimmy Saenz and Gary Saenz; grandchildren Cathy Rader and Renee Vesterby; great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. The Mass of the Resurrection will be officiated by Father David Enriquez at St. Therese's Catholic Church Tuesday November 18, 2014 at 10am. A visitation will be held on Monday November 17, 2014 at St. Therese's Catholic Church 4pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30pm.
