To say, "If tears could build a stairway to heaven, I would bring you back again," is not enough. To say, the road we traveled fighting this disease this last two years has been tough, is not enough. To say, I saw a side of you that more than amazed me, is not enough. To say, the time you had with your three boys these two years were well spent, is not enough. To say, we had fun times talking, laughing, solving the world's problems, arguing over little things (usually ending with "IT IS WHAT IT IS" - our favorites saying), is not enough. To say, you took "only part of my heart with you," is truly not enough. To say, I treasure the fun, and even the tough times we had, is not enough. To say, "Son I love you with all my heart," is truly not enough. To say, the 46 years I had with you was enough, my heart screams NO! To say, you prayed with that Angle disguised as a nurse at the hospital and rededicated your life to the Lord and how we sat on your bedside and prayed, cried and hugged together that final day, knowing you are with the Lord in Heaven, THAT IS ENOUGH! With my aching heart I wish you peace and joy with Grandmas and Grandpas in Heaven my Son, take my love with you, Mom. Michael leaves behind loving parents, Harley Craig of Wasco, Sharyn and Jack Jost of Bakersfield; family members include, precious sons, Michael Craig Jr., Mitchell Craig, Zayn Craig and Karsyn Galanski; loving brother, Bryan Craig and wife Drinnean, and their children, Morgan and "G-Man" Garett; Kelly Craig and husband Tim Sorforcum; John Craig and wife Krista and family; treasured uncle and aunt, Benny and Roxie Craig of Wasco and their son, Doug Craig and wife Misty and their children, Karly, Tatum and Zac; and grandmother, Goldie Wiginton of Wasco. Michael's wonderful stepbrothers and sisters and their families, Jerry and Karen Jost and children, Janelle and husband Matt, Allen, Jeana and husband A.J.; Cheri and Ron Thompson and children, Tracy and husband Nick, Brad and wife Crystal; Our precious, Jackie Hahn, Judy and John Newton, children, Jeni and Ali; Jami and Darren Graham, children, Amber and Adam; Jeff and Helen Jost, children, Jeni and Ali; Jami and Darren Graham, children, Amber and Adam; Jeff and Helen Jost, children, Julia, Jordon and Jeromy; and many other cousins, family and friends both local and in Idaho. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, at 10am at Griffith Avenue Baptist Church Wasco, for Michael Duane Craig, age 46, of Bakersfield who passed away January 28, 2011 in Duarte, California. Pastor Bill Lewis will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 1, from 2pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home.
