Ms. Maxine Alberta Williams, 87 Homemaker Ms. Maxine Williams, a 2-year resident of Yucca Valley, California died on July 13, 2009 at home from bone cancer. She was 87 years old. She was born on March 23, 1922 to Chancey A. and Elsie E. (Gardener) Pinney in Arco, Idaho. Maxine was married to Grover Alton Williams, who preceded her in death on February 22, 2004. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Don and Kathy Carter of Yucca Valley, California. Maxine had been a Homemaker for over 40 years. Interment was at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
