Obituary

Mavis Louis Knox (Sandoval), 70, was born in Oreville, California on June 7th, 1949 to Dread D. Bean and Eva Marie Bean (Wells.) Mavis passed away in her home in Wasco, California May 27th after battling cancer. She is survived by her husband Angel Sandoval, her children James Cobb and Melissa Clark, brothers Johnny Bean, Chris Wells, Richard Bean, and her sisters Jeanette Bean, and Sharol Welch and her grandchildren Christopher Turner, Zabrina Cobb, Hannah Clark, Johnathan Turner, Margrett Garzoli, and her many nieces and nephews, close friends and other family members who will greatly miss her. Mavis truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; she loved family get togethers, riding her horse, Lady, playing card games, coloring in coloring books, dancing, and also she loved her fur babies, Twinkie and Lucy(dogs). Mavis was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, aunt, sister and stepmother. Mavis was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Letha and Carol Bean, and her daughter Marie Cobb. Her funeral Service will be on June 3rd, 9-11 AM. The service starts at 10 AM at the Peters funeral home in Wasco, California for close friends and family to attend. Burial Services will be held at Shafter Cemetery.
