Mary Lou Sninsky quietly fell into eternal sleep on July, 2011 in Shafter, CA. She was born in Colgate, Oklahoma on October 10, 1930 to Rhoda (Dickerson) and Ed Shekells, one of l0 children. She was a housewife for 60 years and resided in Kern County since 1983. Mary Lou Sninsky was preceded in death by her brother Paul Edward Schekells; sisters Barbara Nye, Juanita Smith, Billie Day and Jane Nikkel. Her surviving family includes sisters, Reva Jean Owens, Lois Anderton, Shirley Snow and Patsy Ruthy Zumbro; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends and aquaintences. There were no services for Mary Lou Sninsky, age 80, of Bakersfield per her family's request.
