Mary was born at home in Wasco on April 27, 1923 to Josef and Marie Miller. She was the oldest of 8 children. She was married to Ray Schroeder for 58 years and raised 6 children. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard; husband, Ray Shroeder; son, Stephen Schroeder; and grandson, Phillip Frassel. She is survived by son, Phillip Schroeder and wife Gwen; daughters, Karen and husband Rick Westbrook, Chris and husband Bill Preston, Francine and husband Jack Frassel and Susan Lowe; brothers, Joe Miller and wife Pat, Aloise Miller and wife Alice, Fritz Miller and wife Dorothy, Bobby Miller and wife Sandy; sisters, Rose Bennett and Theresa Garibaldi; sister-in-law, Joan Miller; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Holy Rosary will be recited Wednesday, February 5 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco for Mary Schroeder, age 90, who passed away February 2, 2014 in Bakersfield. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 6 at 10am at St. John's Church, Wasco. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
