Mary Ann Nored was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to parents Oscar King and Callie (Beasley) King. Mary was the second child of five. The family moved from Oklahoma and California. Mary met Horace, affectionately known as "Buck". They married in June 1952 and started their family in 1953, settling in Wasco, Ca. Mary Ann enjoyed square dancing, camping, and gardening. Mary Ann taught square dancing at WADD in Wasco. Mary Ann passed away on May 21, 2021 in Shafter. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Sharolette Airrington; sons, Terry Nored and wife Toni Nored from Arizona, Dennis Nored and wife Yvonne Nored of Paso Robles; 8 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; brother, Gene King and wife Betty; sister, Pauline Simpson. She is preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Callie King; husband, Buck Nored; daughter, Sandra Nored; granddaughter, Michele Doolan; great grandson, Anthony Nored; sisters, Ruthie Crouch, Milvine Daniels; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
