Mary J. Nazaroff was born November 10, 1930 to John and Mary (Filatoff) Tolmasoff in Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico. She married David Morris Nazaroff, Sr. in 1949 moved to Wasco where they worked together farming. Mary was very involved with her church. She enjoyed china painting as a hobby and created many beautiful pieces. Mary was a very involved mother enjoying being a part of her children's school activities, including 4-H and PTA. Mary loved her two grandchildren and all children, enjoying visits from friends. Mary is survived by her husband of 59 years, David Nazaroff, Sr. of Wasco; daughters, Onya Tolmasoff and husband Mike of San Juan Capistrano and Susan Smallwood and husband Donald of Las Vegas; brother, John Tolmasoff; sister, Anita Nazaroff; grandchildren, Niclana Creagh and husband Chris and Corey Tolmasoff and wife Urszula and their baby, Ashlyn. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, David Tolmasoff and Mike Tolmasoff; and her son, David Nazaroff, Jr. Traditional funeral services under the direction of Peters Funeral Home will be held at the Shafter Russian Molokan Church followed by a graveside service held Saturday, June 14 at 10am at Shafter Memorial Park for Mary J.
