Mary Maxine Horton was born on April 24th, 1932 in Bristow, Oklahoma and went to her mansion in the sky from this earth on February 14th, 2024 at her home in Wasco, Ca with family. She was survived by 6 kids, Sonny Horton, Bobby Horton (Theresa), Daniel Horton (Ellen), Michael Horton, Gwen Furgerson(Kelvin), Benjamin Horton(Toni),16 grandkids Jodi Sanchez(Tony), Alan Lowe(Sarai),Kelli Jo Brock(Jeremy), Johnny Furgerson(Katie), Leah Cooke(Andy), Awna Furgerson, Azai Furgerson, Daniel Furgerson, Sarah Smith(Keith), Daniel Horton(Stacy), Jennifer Robinson(Jeremiah), Christopher Horton(Virginia), Rodney Horton, Steven Horton, Kimberly Horton, Breanna Horton and 29 great grandkids and 6 great-great grandkids. She had a large family who loved her dearly. She has 1 living sister, Mildred Criner living in Bakersfield, Ca. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Hillis Horton, 1 sister, Jean and 1 brother, Alvin.

Maxine was a vocational nurse in Shafter, Ca for about 18 years and was a very caring nurse and caring person overall. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter and sister. She was a devoted Christian woman who attended Apostolic Gospel Church of Delano with Pastor Brian Allard in Delano, Ca.
