Martha Melinda Perez was born in Bakersfield, California to Benito and Maria Perez on August 26, 1995. Martha was your typical 12 year old girl, she loved playing, sports, music and running during P. E. She attended Thomas Jefferson School and was currently in the 7th grade. Martha loved and was greatly loved by her family. Martha is survived by her parents Benito Perez of Buttonwillow and Maria Perez of Wasco; brother, Alex Perez; sisters, Yelipza Perez and Angela Herrera all of Wasco; grandparents, Melinda and Antonio Perez, and Martha and Reyes Ojeda all of Mexico. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at 10am, for Martha Melinda Perez, age 12, of Wasco, who passed away March 11, 2008, in Bakersfield. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 17, 2008, at 10am. Father John Fluetsch of St. John's Catholic Church will officiate the service. A visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Saturday, March 15, 2008, from 9am to 1pm.
