Martha P. Mendez was a loving and caring wife and a mother of 2 boys. Tough and persevering, she never allowed herself to be brought down in the face of adversary. Moreover she sacrificed all to ensure her 2 sons were healthy and well off.

Martha would face her greatest challenge in the year 2022 when she was detected with stage 4 colorectal cancer. With a warrior's strength and spirit, she fought with all her might to defeat her illness, ultimately winning her fight and earning her well deserved rest on March 18, 2025.

And although no longer present in her physical form, her sons and husband know she continues to watch and protect them, inspiring them to continue on without her. For they know one day the doors that will lead them to reunite will open and they shall embrace as a family once more.
