Martha Jane Huntington August 24, 1940 – March 1, 2022 Our Martha went to be with the Lord, on March 1st. Martha was born in Hugo, Oklahoma to Willie and Esther Mitchell. The family moved to Shafter, California in 1948, where her dad farmed for many years. She attended Maple School and graduated from Shafter High School. She had three siblings, Demple Amos, Doug Mitchell and Charles Mitchell. She met and married Ronald Huntington on January 28, 1958 and just celebrated their 64th anniversary. They had three children, Greg (Karen) Huntington, Judi Huntington and Corinne Snow. Grandchildren, Joshua (Shelby) Sims, Cameron (Adrienne) Sims, Rob (Katelyn) Huntington, Jeff (Lindsey) Huntington, Kayla (Tyler) Wainwright and Breanna Maddon. Great Grandchildren, Lilly, Cohen, Luke, Aimee, Thomas, Dean, Emmy, Maverick and Everly. She worked for Dr. Hubert Buehler for 27 years and retired in 1997. Hobbies were travelling, reading and her Bunco (Bunketts) group of 54 years. Visitation in March 10, 2022 from 5-7pm at Peters Funeral Home Shafter. Graveside Service is March 11, 2022 at 10am at Shafter Memorial Park
