Marsha was born in Poteau, Oklahoma to Stacy and Margie (Gilmore) Coleman. Marty lived in Oklahoma until the age of 9, and then she moved to Merced with her family, where she graduated from El Capitan High School. She also lived in Kentucky and worked at the Russell Stover Candy Factory. Marsha married her husband James Hasting in Tulare on December 22, 1973. She worked in Tulare at Tulare County Training Center for the handicapped and when the family moved to Wasco she worked at the Occupational Education School for handicapped. Marsha enjoyed reading and writing. Marsha Marie Hastings was preceded in death by her parents, Stacy and Margie Coleman; and her brother, Edward Coleman. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Hastings; a daughter, Tracy Hastings; sisters, Barbara Coleman and Patricia Panelle; cousins, Laverne Lovelady and Lori Lovelady; and niece Kimberlie Hudson. A memorial Service will be held on Monday February 28 at 11:00am at the United Methodist Church for Marsha Marie Hastings, age 65, of Wasco, who passed away on February 21, 2011 in Wasco. Pastor Scott Allred will officiate the service.
