Marjorie Chast Turner, a 20-year resident of Yucca Valley, died March 4, 2011, at Sky Harbor Care Center in Yucca Valley. She was 83 years old. The daughter of Albert Chast and Oahu Rose Kellogg, she was born July 20, 1927, in California. Mrs. Turner was a business owner in the aviation industry before she retired. She is survived by son Terry Turner of Yucca Valley and grandson Jeff Turner. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. March 19 at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel at 57373 Joshua Lane in Yucca Valley. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Turner's family requests memorial dontions be made to Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel.
