Marilyn Gail Kasinger was born on January 17, 1939 in Utah to Dowl Padgett of Santa Nella, California and Thelma Padgett of Santa Nella, California. Dowl Padgett was born in Galina, Kansas where he was a truck driver for 14 years in Salinas, California. Thelma H. Padgett was born in Fredonia, Kansas where she was a nurse aide for 22 years in Monterey County Hospital in Salinas. Marilyn followed in the footsteps of her mother, and was in the Health Care industry where she was a CNA for many years. On April 15, 2016, Marilyn passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She is proceeded in death by infant son: Daniel Wayne Kasinger of Arvin; both parents, Dowl and Thelma Padgett; brother Daryl Padgett of Bakersfield; sister Judith Harp of Bakersfield; nephew Timothy Lee Wheeler of Fresno, California. Marilyn is survived by her daughter Tanya Lynn Stump of Arvin; daughter Cynthia Gail Tidwell of Bakersfield, California and son in law Terry Tidwell of Bakersfield, California; sister and brother in law Glenda and Gary Wheeler of Fresno, California; brother and sister in law Danny and Linda Padgett of Sonora, California; nephew Darryl Padgett and wife Mable of Bakersfield, California; niece Christina Padgett of Bakersfield, California; 2 grandsons Corey and Tyler Tidwell of Bakersfield, California; 4 great-grandchildren Evan, Audrina, McKeena and Aiden Tidwell of Bakersfield, California. A visitation will be held at Arvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 4-8pm. A Memorial Service will be officiated by Hayden Tidwell on Thursday, April 21, 2016 – 11AM at Arvin Funeral Home.
