Mom (Marie) was born on April 20th 1919 in Colorado but spent most of her life in California. She has two children Judy Jones (HusbandJim) and Joe Zomar (Wife Lynn) , four grandchildren (Kelly, Kristy, Kyle and Krista) and four great grandsons (Garrett, Devon, CJ and "#4" Brennan). She is preceeded in death by her husband George Riese, her parents Edward and Charlotte Hall, her brother Ed Hall and her sister Virginia Taylor. Mom (Marie) loved her family very much and was especially proud of her grandkids and grea t - grandsons. She also had a very special relationship with her son-in-law Jim and her daughter-in-law Lynn. She was a very giving person who dedicated 30 years and over 35,000 hours of her time to the Morongo Valley community as a volunteer at the Hi Desert Hospital. She served as president of the association on two occasions. Marie made many dear friends during this time. Her children will remember her most for the loving way she raised them. She always did what was best for her kids. She worked hard to see that they were happy. She always thought of them first. They will also remember her fun loving sense of humor and the fact that she appreciated some pretty darn good jokes that she shared with friends and family. (Sometimes we had to keep them away from the kids) Mom (Marie) would be happy to see the familiar faces here today to wish her Godspeed as she joins her beloved George for the rest of eternity.
