Marian Etta Pellett was born November 29, 1933 in Bear River, Utah to Benjamin & Lorna Christensen. She was the beloved wife of Jim Pellett for 35 years of Wasco, CA. Marian passed away November 30, 2012 at home after a short illness. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Jerry Christensen; sister, Carol Webb; and grandson, Jesse Pierce. Marian is survived by her children, Sharon Smith (Kevin), Diane Romine (Greg), Rick Pierce (Tammi) & Alicia Brown (Daran), who meant the world to her. She was their rock and always there for each of them until her death. "Nana" is survived by her grandchildren Ben Pierce (Erica), Nichole Wills, Allen & Casey Pierce and her great grandchildren Zachary, Dylan & Brittney Wills and Madison Pierce. She was the proudest "Nana" of her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Irene Peery, Dee Bellmore (Jack) and Sharon Kofoed with whom she had many crazy & hysterical adventures. These girls love to laugh! Marian was an avid gardener, teaching all her great-grandchildren how to plant beautiful flowers, which she dearly loved. She will be sadly missed by family & friends. We all know that she is no longer in pain & is truly in the presence of her Savior! A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 5th, 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 2309 9th Place, Wasco. Interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park.
