Maria Eliza Robledo was born December 10, 1928 in Laredo, Texas to Herculano and Juanita V. Santos. She was 96 years young. She grew up in Laredo until she met her future husband, Manuel and moved to San Antonio, Texas and later to Arizona and much later to Wasco, California for the duration of her life. Maria Eliza was a well liked and very respected woman who was known as "Eliza".

Manuel and Eliza brought into this world 8 children, Yolanda, Roldan, Sonia, Fred, Maria Alma, Mario, Elsa and Lamar.

Eliza greatest accomplishments were, she worked as a Teacher's Aide for the Kern County School system in Wasco, retired and liked being a wife and Mom and Grandmother.

She liked to read, sew, and gather with her family as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great-great Grandchildren. She liked to travel when she was younger and enjoyed beautiful sceneries.

The wonderful memories made by Eliza was that she was easy to made to laugh, she was meticulous with herself, very self-confident, and a strong determined woman. She always put her family first. She will be missed dearly. .
